Azee (Azithromycin) helps in the treatment of different bacterial infections. A macrolide type of antibiotic, and is also known to as Azithromysin.
How to use Azee
This medication does not work on infections that are viral in nature. The infections it can be used for include: upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs) including pharyngitis and acute otitis, lower respiratory tract infections (LRTIs) including acute bronchitis and pneumonia, uncomplicated genital Infections including cervicitis and urethritis, skin and soft tissue infections (SSTIs) including pyoderma and furuncolosis as well as other conditions not listed here.
Use Azee as prescribed by your physician. Self-medication is highly discouraged as it can cause severe health risks.
The usual dose for adults taking Azee (Azithromycin) is between 250mg and 500mg daily for 3 days. When treating genital infections such as Chlamydia, a single dose is prescribed. Elderly and young patients will be given a reduced dosage. Azee can be taken on an empty or full stomach. If you have an upset stomach after dosing on an empty stomach, take the next dose with a meal or snack.
Azee Side Effects
Side effects are usually light but should nevertheless be reported to a physician. If effects persist or become worrisome, visit your physician. Known side effects from taking Azee (Azithromycin) include abdominal pains, flatulence, mild nausea, headaches, dizziness, dyspepsia, and angioedema.
