This medicine is used to increase the amount of good cholesterol which is normally referred to as HDL while reducing bad cholesterol in LDL. This medicine is classified as an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor because of its active ingredient atorvastatin calcium. Normally, this medication is prescribed along a diet and exercise program. It is effective in reducing heart attacks, reducing the risks of strokes and helps in reduction of chances of needing a heart surgery in future time.

How to use Lipvas
